该校创立于1948年，然后于1998年搬迁，并由怡保公共工程局（JKR）赞助采用钢质建筑材料重建校舍。该校建有十一间教室、一间图书馆、一间科学实验室及一个礼堂。不过，建筑的屋顶与设备已损坏，因此在下雨天，学校就面临教室和礼堂的屋顶漏水，以及雨水溅到走廊和楼梯的问题，令学生和教师们处于危险的境况。为此公益金资助维修工程，修复教室有渗漏问题的金属屋顶，屋顶隔离板及天花板，并修复电路板和加强学校的安全措施。
