培风中学是目前自1913年成立以来在马六甲成立的唯一的独立中学。该校新生逐年增加。因此，该校购买了现有学校对面的土地，以作为扩建用途。公益金资助该校建造了两座四层楼的多元化用途大楼和另一座多媒体大楼。

公益金的命名于多媒体校楼的资讯中心。该校于2019年11月14日获得竣工与合规证书（Certificate of Completion and Compliance (“CCC”)。

多媒体校楼的资讯中心和服务器房在2019年开始，用以在新冠疫情期间协调在家学习和考试。2022年6月12日，公益金执行董事陈光汉先生和学校代表为多媒体校楼主持开幕。
