SJK(C) Yong Peng 2’s total student enrolment has steadily increased from 463 (2016) to 535 (2020). As such, the school was lacking of communal space for student activities.

The school proceeded to build a covered roof over the “U” shaped classroom buildings to enable students to assemble and organise activities at all times. TCC assisted to upgrade the covered hall known as the multi-purpose hall with the supply and installation of an additional 1 unit of 24ft industrial fan with control systems and a new public address and sound system.

TCC assisted the school to upgrade its canteen and library with 32 units of new stainless steel tables, 64 units of stainless steel benches and the supply and installation of drinking water system for the school’s canteen, and 19 units of bookcase for the school’s library to cater to the increasing number of students.
