SK Tok Muda requested funding assistance from TCC to repair and upgrade student toilets.
The students’ toilet is located on a separate block and has since emitted a foul smell. TCC advised the school to obtain desludging services from IWK which was subsequently done.
TCC then upgraded the toilet which included roofing works, tiling works, toilet doors, new auto urinal cistern, water tanks, new lightings and painting works.
In addition, TCC assisted to refurbish the metal deck walkway connecting the main building to the student toilet. The refurbishment work was completed in April 2019 and the students are able to use the toilets in a more comfortable condition.
