Every year, the total number of applications received by Pei Chun High School far exceeds the capacity of the academic classrooms of the school. As such, the school decided to build a new one block of 4-storey Academic Building to increase the number of academic classrooms and teachers’ rooms.
TCC provided funding of RM216,000 towards the construction of this new building. The new Academic building obtained its Certificate of Practical Completion (“CPC”) on 31 January 2013 and Certificate of Completion and Compliance (“CCC”) on 17 July 2018.
The school’s total enrollment of students increased from 1,400 in 2013 to 1,570 in 2019 with the completion of the Academic Building.
