SJK(C) Phin Min has 19 pre-school students and 64 KSSR students. Initally, the school requested funding for toilet upgrade and refurbishment. During TCC’s visit to the school, the project was changed as the school principal was keen to have the SHARP Education Solution as the cost was reasonable as compared to the current market price.
A new 1 unit of SHARP Education Solution smartboard was placed in Standard 4. The cost was RM15,800 and TCC donated RM14,000 and school paid the balance of RM1,800. The smartboard comprise of 70” 4K Aquos Touch smartboard with mini PC. Other additions include mobile stand, an interactive whiteboard pen, e-share pro license and cabling.
The SHARP Education Solution smartboard aims to further enhance the learning experience of students, enabling few students to concurrently write and draw at the smartboard which encourages these students to take part in the lessons more actively. In addition, the teachers can showcase videos and 3D pictures so that the lessons will become more interesting. As a result, the teaching and learning processes enhance significantly.
