The school, Grade A, has the most student enrolment in Kedah with 1,280 students organised in 2 sessions. The school has a total of 3 blocks of classroom buildings (Block A, B and C), a multi-purpose hall and a separate canteen. Block C, one block of 2-storey building is over 20 years old and require upgrade and refurbishment due to wear and tear condition.

TCC provided funding and assisted to dismantle existing asbestos roof and supply and install new metal deck roofing with PU foam for Block C. In addition, Block C toilets were demolished and upgraded with new sanitary fittings, floor and wall tiles, aluminum doors and plumbing works.
