SK Slim Village has 341 students in 2023, of which 160 students from Orang Asli villages and 181 students from Kampung Melayu. Out of 341 students, 40 students in pre-school, 21 students in PPKI and the remaining 280 students in KSSR. Presently school is using whiteboard in classrooms and only 1 non-interactive smart TV in Science lab.
As such, TCC donated items mentioned below to further enhance its digital learning for both teachers and students:
- 2 units of SHARP Education Solution smartboards – 1 unit placed in the hall and 1 unit placed in the computer lab;
- 4 units of LCD projectors for teachers usage in classrooms and hall; and
- 2 units of laptops which were placed in the computer lab.
The SHARP Education Solution smartboard aims to further enhance the learning experience of students, enabling few students to concurrently write and draw at the smartboard which encourages these students to take part in the lessons more actively. In addition, the teachers can showcase videos and 3D pictures so that the lessons will become more interesting. As a result, the teaching and learning processes enhance significantly.
Each unit of smartboard comprise of 70” 4K Aquos Touch smartboard with mini PC. Other additions include mobile stand, an interactive whiteboard pen, e-share pro license and cabling.
