SK Tanjong Malim has 1,032 students included 10 special needs students and 75 kindergarten students. Presently, the school is using whiteboard as teaching aid in the classrooms.
TCC donated a total of 9 units SHARP Education Solution smartboards to the school. The school allocated 1 unit for pre-school classroom, 1 unit for special needs classroom, and remaining 7 units for KSSR students. The other classrooms equipped with the smartboards include Standard 2 classroom, Standard 4 classroom, computer lab, science lab, Rekabentuk Teknologi (“RBT”) lab, Resource Centre and Meeting room. Each unit of smartboard comprise of 70” 4K Aquos Touch smartboard with mini PC. Other additions include mobile stand, an interactive whiteboard pen, e-share pro license and cabling.
The SHARP Education Solution smartboard aims to further enhance the learning experience of students, enabling few students to concurrently write and draw at the smartboard which encourages these students to take part in the lessons more actively. In addition, the teachers are able to deliver interactive lessons, incorporate multimedia resources and create collaborative learning experiences. As a result, the teaching and learning processes enhanced significantly.
