Project Administrative Executive

Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:

  • Check the new funding applications, prepare the necessary documentation, and record the application (school detail/ project type) in the filing system. Liaison with the school for any missing information or incomplete application.
  • Maintain a database of funded Learning Institutions.
  • Update and categorise the funding for each application
  • Maintain a proper filing system, manually and digitally for easy retrieval.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and coordinate all administrative functions for the department.
  • Coordinate the distribution of Board papers.
  • Assist in executing approved funding applications, monitor the progress of works and disbursements.
  • Assist in school launching events.
  • Assist with the preparation of statistics and ad-hoc reports as well as write-ups for completed projects for updates on the website as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in project administration or general administrative functions.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • The ability to converse and write in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Able to travel outstation as and when required (occasionally).

 

Project Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new funding applications received and prepare documentation for submission to the TCC Administrator and/or TCC Board of Trustees.
  • Execute funding for approved applications, monitor work progress and disbursements.
  • Liaison with school/supplier/contractor for quotations or any missing information.
  • Check and review quotations, bill of quantities and rates as well as tenders and contract documents.
  • Prepare write-ups for completed projects in both English and Mandarin for updates on the website.
  • Maintain a proper filing system, manually and digitally for easy retrieval.
  • Coordinate with various parties for the preparation of relevant reports and school launching events.
  • Assist with the preparation of statistics and ad-hoc reports as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Survey, Architecture, Building, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in a property developer or consulting firm.
  • Experience in tenders and contract management is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, good with numbers, and meticulous.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • The ability to converse and write in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Able to travel outstation as and when required (frequently).
