This school is located in Damak, 30km away from Jerantut town. The school has a total of 13 teachers requiring accommodation.
The existing teachers’ quarter which was built in 1992 is in a dilapidated condition and has insufficient bedrooms. The school Board of Governors had to rent other accommodations for the teachers.
TCC assisted to refurbish and upgrade the existing teachers’ quarter which included re-roofing works, upgrade drainage works and provided new concrete flooring. In addition, TCC constructed a new block of single-storey teachers’ quarter named “The Community Chest Teachers’ Quarters”. The Certificate of Practical Completion was issued on 2 April 2019.
SJKC Batu Balai teachers’ have occupied both quarters and presently, the school Board of Governors do not need to rent outside accommodation for the teachers.
