Sekolah Kebangsaan Malim is located in Malim, Melaka. This school has a total of 786 students, of which 750 students under KSSR curriculum and 26 students with PPKI (Program Pendidikan Khas Intergrasi) course. PPKI in SK Malim was initiated on 3 February 2001 and one out of a total 16 primary schools in Tanjong zone offering PPKI in Melaka.
The 26 students have Down Syndrome, Autism, Celebral Palsy, slow learner, challenge with hearing and eyesight or ADHD. There are 10 teachers and 3 assistant teachers teaching PPKI in SK Malim.
PPKI classes are organised in a small space and with the humid condition, the students get agitated easily.
TCC assisted to refurbish PPKI area by installing air-conditioners in their 3 PPKI classrooms, open area for activity and living skills, and teachers’ room to provide a more comfortable environment for both PPKI students and teachers.
